Ingredients
  

  • ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup kefir
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Whisk dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together kefir, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Pour into prepared pan: Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan, spreading evenly.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool and serve: Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, top with frosting or fresh fruit for extra flavor.
